Branches

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
John 15:4-5

Camp

One of the high-lights of our year is our youth camp!  This is where it really comes together for these kids. Sometimes it just takes getting away and focusing on the God who made us to realize His great purpose for our lives.  Camp is an essential way for our leaders to reach the hearts of the youth with the gospel!  Lives have been forever changed at camp!

Who we are!

The goal of “Branches” Jr. High Ministry is to equip Jr. Highers to abide in Christ and to have a continuing and fruitful relationship of obedience to Him. According to the passage here in John 15:4-5, none of us can bear good fruit apart from ABIDING in the VINE.  Here at Calvary Chapel, we believe teaching our youth how to “Abide” in the vine, what that means and what that looks like, is essential for their spiritual growth.  We seek to teach the Bible in a way that is relevant to junior highers, teaching them how to respond to God in heartfelt worship, and connecting through games and activities that create a healthy, vibrant community!

When we meet!

Branches Jr. High Group meets every Sunday at 11am and every Wednesday at 7pm. We meet in the main sanctuary for worship with the congregation and then move downstairs to the Jr. High room for Bible study. 6th-8th graders are welcome to join us every service time and for every event as we draw closer to Christ and abide in Him through worship, the Word, prayer and fellowship.

Special Events!

Once a month we gather the kids together for a fun-filled event and to get to know each other in a relaxed, fun environment!    Contact Joel Garcia at (562)322-4718  for information on any future events.
